Civics Go.
Practice for the U.S. citizenship interview in English, with help in your own language.
- Every question on the 2025 civics test (128 questions), and the 2008 test (100 questions) if you filed before October 20, 2025.
- Listen first: hear each question asked by an officer, then the answer, at the speed you choose.
- A practice interview that asks questions the way officers really ask them, and lets you answer out loud.
- The hard words on your N-400 form, explained simply.
- Explanations in Spanish, Vietnamese, Chinese, Tagalog and Hindi.

Some answers depend on where I live. How does the app know?
Questions like "Who is one of your state's U.S. senators?" have different answers in each state. Enter your ZIP code in Settings and the app looks up your officials on house.gov and usa.gov.
The app doesn't hear my answer.
Check that Civics Go may use the microphone and speech recognition in the iPhone Settings app, under Civics Go. You can also choose "Type instead".
I found a mistake.
